Master's Men

What do you get when you combine 28 softball teams from 10 states, 2 softball fields in the Nashville area and 2 days of hot, dry August weather? The Master's Men National Softball Tournament!

The weather was no hotter than the action as these men came looking for the same thing, a trophy. Not just any trophy, the Championship trophy. While everyone went away having enjoyed themselves with all the fun and fellowship, only one team walked away with that prize. Westgate FWB Church from Spartanburg, SC outlasted all competition to carry home the top prize. Many commented that this was one of the best tournaments ever. Taking home second place was Fellowship FWB Church from Park Hills, MO. Finishing third was West Wayne FWB Church out of Ypsilanti, MI with Good Springs FWB Church from Pleasant View, TN finishing fourth. In the Consolation Tournament, Kirby Blue took home the championship for the second year in a row with Lyons FWB Church from Lyons, GA finishing second.

Another great year of softball and fellowship as everybody showed great sportsmanship and Christian character.

Next year's tournament will be scheduled for the first weekend in August. Please make plans to attend.
