Disaster Respnse Opportunity and Training

We have planned a Disaster Response Training week for April 13-17, 2015. This training will take place at the Cumberland Youth Camp located near Clarksville, Tennessee, north of Nashville. We have several spots open. This will be a week of both hands on and class training. We are partnering with citiIMPACT, a national disaster response organization, for training, as well as other groups. citiIMPACT was the lead organization that worked closely with Hillsdale College during the tornadoes in Moore, Oklahoma.

We will begin Monday April 13 around 1:00 pm and conclude on Thursday. You would need to bring bedding and personal hygiene items. We will provide everything you will need for classes and training. You may also want to bring gloves and protective eyewear.

If you are interested in attending this training, there will be no charge. We will underwrite the expenses. We are looking to get better trained and organized with our disaster response. If you are interested contact the Master’s Men office no later than April 1: ken@nafwb.org, 877-767-8039 (office), or 931-265-2333 (cell).

Due to scheduling, we will conclude on Thursday after our Red Cross training, around 3:00 PM.

The address of the camp is:
